It can be disheartening to believe that you are enough to go after chasing BIG dreams or HUGE ideas; especially when you have to go about doing it alone.
Many people think that if they could just win the lottery or if they could just “… get this person to notice my talents…” or “I wish someone would offer me an opportunity to showcase my gifts” – then, their life will forever be changed for the better.
Trust me; I’ve been there many times myself.
However, this journey of RELEASE has been an enlightening one for me. I have grown physically, mentally, and spiritually.
It has helped me to put more of my trust and faith in areas of my life that will render me with more of what I seek out of it. Things like peace, love, joy, happiness, and yes even success.
So let this serve as a reminder that you are enough for whatever you want out of life. You are greater than any problem you might face.
A few weeks ago while sitting on my deck in meditation I scribbled these three questions down. Initially, they were questions I posed to myself.
But today, I want to pose them to each of you to reflect upon.
Reflect on this…
- Who has your life/dream/idea or success in their hands?
- How much of yourself are you willing to lose or gain to be successful?
- If the price of success would mean you pay with your life’s purpose, would you pay it?
You Are Your Solution
Here’s something else you should know…
Don’t ever wait for someone else to open a door that you are fully equipped to open for yourself. It may take some effort on your part, but you are the solution to any problem you have in life.
If you have a dream or an idea, you must also believe that you have been given the exact tools that you’ll need to make it happen. If you don’t have them, yet… just start doing whatever it is you want to do… your gifts will make room for you later.
You have the key to that door you’ve been trying to open. Just because it doesn’t work at one door, doesn’t mean it will not work on another one. Just keep trying the key you have been given.
Trust yourself, and never ever give up. If you give up, it wasn’t that important of a problem to you. Now was it?
Over to you…
I hope you’ll leave me your thoughts and insights for today’s Reflections. If there’s something you would like to add or even take away I’m open to hear what you have to say about today’s topic. In fact, I encourage it!
We are sharpened (growth) even more when we become open to discuss.

Nothing happens by chance — as I know there was a reason — I was led here! Thank you for such an amazing feature! In the wake of giving up — you have made me think twice about my impulsive actions!

Encouraging words, which I needed today, Deone.
I tend to do the flip side of this as well which is blaming others for blocking something which should be coming into my life. It’s all on me, though. Thanks for the reminder.

I’m glad to hear you were encouraged by the post, Ken. I know exactly what you mean. I’m guilty of having done that myself. I’m glad this served as a reminder bud. Stay awesome and continue in knowing that you are one of a kind…. a precious link on my friend chain that I think consistently ROCKS!

You are right, Deone.
Only thing that is limiting us is ourselves, our beliefs and our perceptions/expectations.
Sometimes, those limiting beliefs are necessary to keep ourselves from taking unwanted risks or jumping into a dangerous situation. And in other times (this happens often) it can obstruct us from achieving our success (we need to have a balance, too much of anything can be bad. When limiting beliefs really obstruct us, change those beliefs, make those beliefs our friends instead of trying to get rid of them altogether).
I have my dream in my hand. I control it
As with losing, I am willing to lose anything to achieve my goals (At least that’s what I always say to myself, but it doesn’t mean literally. There are things I won’t give up in my life – like my family
).
My goals and my purpose are the same things
So, when I achieve success it means that I have achieved my purpose (anything short of that, I don’t accept them as my success, sure they can be success, but it isn’t the success I needed).
Appreciate the post
Thanks!
I needed to read these words in this moment. ~Thank you.
