Why I’ll Never Stop Dreaming — Releasing Me Today

Why I’ll Never Stop Dreaming

by Deone on October 14, 2011

Keep on Dreaming, and fuel that dream with action. Never stop! Never faint! Never ever, ever give up! It only takes one individual to see the dream as you see it; the right individual could catapult you into turning that dream into your reality. ~Deeone Higgs

Sometimes we don’t see the point in dreaming. Those are the very moments that we need to dream the most. It could be that moment that your dream was that close to becoming true. Keep On Dreaming.

As always, your feedback is welcomed! Even on these types of Releasing Moments your comments are what fuel this website. :) Give me your opinion about the post, let me know your experiences about what I’ve written here. And definitely give a shout out to the artist and photographer!! Awesomeness!

Thanks to each of you for your continual support and for being completely awesome. May you find your release and Master the day ahead.  :)

Whatz up Deeone?

Did you just quote yourself on your own blog and then add commentary to your quote? That is damn’ AWESOME. It helps that your words are true. Only a dream can keep the hope of truly living alive.

Glad I found your neck of the woods.

Good Day Brad and Welcome to the Release!
Man, seriously welcome… First impressions are something that I have come to really respect and enjoy. You get to learn a lot about a person in first impression; even more so online. Now, let me tell you what you went and did in your first impression. You totally had me cheesing from ear to ear! For that I have to say, Thanks buddy!

I never even thought about it like that. However, it’s mad Awesome that you did. I really appreciate it! :)

All I know is a dream is all we have man, especially when there’s nothing else left to hold on, too. Have you ever met someone who doesn’t have much to hold on too, but he’s the happiest he’s ever been in his entire life? That’s the Release, man. The present looks… anhh, not so good right now. BUT MAN, The future from here is straight up Beaming!! So every single day I’m releasing the present man and introducing him to that future one. It feels really good too, bro. :) Down right Awesome actually.

Thanks for stopping by Brad! It’s truly a pleasure to meet you buddy. I’m just as glad that you found my neck of the woods and you are. Hope it’s not the last time I see you around these parts. ;)

All the best to you, my friend. Have an amazing weekend ahead! :)

Hey Deeone,

I’m right there with you my friend. Never ever stop dreaming because those who dream are usually the ones who inspire us the most. They aren’t afraid to venture outside of themselves so they teach the rest of us that there is life outside our four little walls.

Keep dreaming my friend!

Hey there Adrienne,
I apologize for the long time between response. A cousin of mine’s birthday was on yesterday, and I completely forgot that she had invited us to a mixer. So this will not be a usual thing as far as taking this long to respond. I really do value the comments and don’t want anyone to think otherwise. :) I already know that you understand, I just wanted to state that for the record here on the site. :)

Anywho, Thank you for that awesome feedback. You’re absolutely right! There is such inspiration in those that dream. History has many examples of people who have thought outside of the box and changed life for us as we know it. Take the late Steve Jobs, I’m sure he had several dreams that he risked high states in to make his dream a reality. He’s just one of many.

We should always hold fastly to our dreams and never faint in making them happen for ourselves. We never know what that one thing would be that changes the game plan altogether! :)

I’m just that naive to believe that my dreams will one day take shape. :) I won’t rush it, I won’t get impatient because it hadn’t happen in my time frame; I’ll just continue working towards it and believe in it’s power.

Thank you so much for those inspiring words. They mean so much to me.

All the best and I wish you a wonderful weekend, as well.

I love your quote! It’s so true that we must keep on going–when times get hard, when you don’t seem to be getting the outcome and results that you hoped, when it doesn’t appear that you’re making any progress, when friends and family that you support won’t support you, when no matter what you do, it just doesn’t seem to be coming together………………….you have to keep dreaming, keep believing, and keep on going. Your dreams may not become reality in the time or way that ~you~ wanted them to, but they indeed will become reality–if you don’t give up. Keep pressing on, my friend!

Hey there Melisa,
Like I just told Adrienne, I do apologize for the length of time that’s passed since you left your message, this is certainly not something that you should come to expect here at the Release. So do forgive me.

I’m glad however that you enjoyed this quote as well. You make an awesome point that when all of those variables aren’t falling in line and there just seems to be nothing working in ones favor, those dreams are our life raft. They keep us a float and should never be just tossed away and never reached for again. Rather, we should allow those things to be the fuel we put behind our dream that sparks our creativity and efforts, so that we can reach those dreams sooner.

Faith is a powerful thing, If we believe we can achieve.

Thanks for that inspirational thought! I will definitely keep on pressing on, please believe that! ;)

All the best to you. Enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend. :)

I’ll just add my hearty “amen” and “hear hear” and whatever else to this post. Keep dreaming. And not only dream it, but then believe in it.

My favorite Star Wars quote is right after Yoda uses the power of the Force to raise Luke’s starship out of the swamp, after Luke couldn’t do it.

Luke: I don’t believe it!

Yoda: That is why you fail.

I can tell you from experience that the little green guy is absolutely right about that one…

Good day, Ken… Or more like good evening. :)
Awesome to see your remarks this great evening!

I absolutely love Star Wars, and that is also one of my favorite quotes as well!

I too, learning the hardest of ways, have come to know that Yoda spoke a mouthful of truth on this particular quote! We first must see the “thing” (whatever the “thing” is for each individual), we then desire the “thing”, and often that’s where most people stop. The process simply isn’t finished though, you must believe that it is or that it is possible before it actually begins to take shape. The last part is the most important, and often those that that have made it pass the belief process find this part the most hard to do. It can be difficult, but if we can manage to do this step we’re closer than ever; that step is known to us as “The Wait”.

I believe! And I also am at that latter stage… waiting. :)

Thanks for that awesomeness buddy! May the Force be with you, my friend. ;)

Keep on dreaming, Deeone. I’ll do the same. After all, dreams are free.

Cheers! !

Hey there, Renxkyoko!
Great to hear from you! :) You best believe that I’ll be doing just that. Our dreams are all we have in this world that literally can’t be taken away from us. And yes indeed, they are most definitely free. Thank goodness for that. ;) The taxes on mine would be completely ludicrous. Haha!! :D

I trust all is swell with you. I must get over there to read your blog this week. I usually set time aside on Mondays to connect with other bloggers that have responded for the week. So if I don’t get over there tomorrow… I’ll be chatting with you on Monday. :)

All the best to you, my friend.

I couldn’t agree more to what you wrote Deeone!

Dreams are what keeps us going and to imagine things that we want to accomplish is something beautiful, as once we set our minds to it, we can achieve it.

I read a beautiful quote somewhere that ” “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” And I have seen this happen as well with many people who remain determined and set their goals- they dream big- and do achieve it at the end.

Thanks for the wonderful reminder to keep dreaming :)

Good evening Harleena! :)

I really appreciate your comment and also for your taking the time to share this post. :)

Sometimes it seems like it’ll never come true, but for me whenever those feeling come upon me, someone sends me a word of encouragement or a bit of inspiration. Which kicks me quickly back into gear; while pointing out to me why I’m going after the dream in the first place.

Then there are times when we can literally see it in it’s reality form on the horizon, it’s then that we know that we’re actually more closer than we could have ever imagined. We simply have to keep moving forward towards it.

I believe the quote you shared here wholeheartedly! It’s that hope that I actually cling daily too. It’s that hope that wakes me up early with the dream being the first thought of the day, and the last thought of the evening.

I know that we’ll both reach our dreams, because we’re constantly and consistently working towards them. That reason alone is why we should never abandon our dream. If we have the will to go after it, with due diligence, patience, persistence, and drive, it’s just bound to happen!

I’m holding on with dear life to that hope.

It’s always a pleasure to hear from you, my friend.

Thank you so much for that inspiring comment. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and I wish you a fabulous week ahead. :)

Deeone, Ive been following your work from a distant from some time now and eventually felt compelled to share bro. I worked in the entertainment business in Hollywood for around 9 years and eventually moved back home 1,200 miles to reground and connect with my family. I am somewhat of a hometown hero and alot of the instructors and various educators around my hometown in Eastern Kentucky call me in consistently to give lectures and to speak one on one with the students about mission statement setting and ultimately following your dreams. I quoted you the other day in one of my classes with your ‘fueling your dream with action’ quote which is the shorted version of your initial quote. But some child raised his hand and asked, “What was that mans dream?” I had no answer.
So I ask unto you as a fellow dreamer and admirer of your content, what it is that you dare to dream? What lurks in the heart and soul of a wild and improbably goal that you have set for yourself and want to accomplish? You quote, James Allen, “A man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life.” What type of flowers or fruits would you grow in your garden-soul, and what direction does your dream take you in your mind and how are you going in the progress of that set dream?” Blessings to you and thank you for being just that, you!

Welcome to the Release Adam!

It’s a pleasure to officially have you here.

Man, first let me tell you how humbling it is to read your feedback to this post. I’m also extremely grateful that you felt compelled to reach out to me on such a powerful level. Thank you as well for sharing your moving message with me. It really touched me.

You and the student in which you mentioned in your feedback are the answer to your very question. My dream is to inspire people, so they can and will become who they dream most to be; however big or small that dream may be.

I come from a small town in North Carolina where there wasn’t much dreaming to do, but to daydream. I did a lot of that. It was extremely rural, and for the longest time I thought I’d never get out of the lifestyle I had when I was there. Despite all of the obstacles I dodged and avoided I wanted more than anything to leave some type of mark on the world… not a star on Hollywood Blvd or anything like that (although, I certainly wouldn’t turn that down either); I simply wanted whatever I did with my life to matter.

I wanted and still want to move people with the power of words to embrace change and resist feeling tied to traditional ways of thinking.

I wanted “my garden” to be filled with touched lives that found encouragement, empowerment, and a vision of hope, that they too could make it out of whatever circumstance that seemed dreadfully impossible to make it through.

My mother was a incredible writer, and certainly could have easily written several best sellers. Over my 34 years however, I would watch helplessly as she allowed the gift to be stolen by her own self-defeating beliefs; that she would allow other’s to bestow upon her. Although she passed away from cancer, I would remember her diagnosis of stage four depression more than illness that supposedly took her out. That has stayed with me for the last year and half that she’s been gone. That in itself is a blog post, but it inspired everything I’ve done and that I’m doing.

I vowed to her that I would use the gift she’d given me in some way, shape, or form; and that I would use it to help nurture others out of the same condition she was in. I’m certainly not a doctor, but I do believe that if you continue to feed a person’s spirit good things, good will eventually come out of that spirit. I believe that’s the reason you speak with the many kids you mentor. You desire to share your experiences and to give them hope. Am I right?

My dream is simple really. I don’t want my gifts to go unused or unseen. I would like for them (my gifts) to make room for me in whatever way they will do so. If that means a star on Hollywood Blvd, then so be it. If it means sitting in a office in a cabin in Maine, and writing books of encouragement, I’ll do that too. I don’t limit “the dream”, because I understand that seasons change. Not only does the seasons change, but as we continue to feed ourselves with knowledge and wisdom, our goals and dreams will certainly change as well. That’s just my belief though.

I have gained a great respect for the author James Allen. He has a power book titled, “As a Man Thinketh”. Have you heard of it? If not, I’d definitely recommend you checking it out. It was quite liberating for me. I begin to see myself more clearly and adopt a mindset that I didn’t think was possible for me. Reading that book… changed my dream.

My short term dream is to finish writing my first novel and eBook; which I’m currently working on. How am I progressing to set my dreams? By taking baby steps daily towards them. They might seem minute at times, but even baby steps get us to our desired destination. Do you believe that? I know I do! :)

So please share with your students that the man is currently living out his dreams. He’s in the beginning stage of making the bigger parts of it a reality. I made out of the rural country area and now living in Atlanta. I’ve lived a full life with various unimaginable occupations for a country boy who barely made it out of high school. And I’m touching lives, using my mother’s gifts that I know she would be extremely proud to know that I have kept my promise in doing. :)

So with all of that being said, let me ask you… What are you dreams, my brother? And how will you make them a reality? I’d love to read your thoughts… so please share them with me.

All the best to you, my new friend. Blessings to you as well.
